Komeda – „Romanse " is Joanna Wojtkiewicz’s debut EP, released in 2024 in collaboration with pianist Mateusz Kaszuba. The project offers an intimate reinterpretation of selected songs by Polish composer Krzysztof Komeda, one of the most influential figures in European jazz.

Recorded in a stripped-down voice-and-piano setting, the EP focuses on simplicity, space and emotional nuance. The arrangements move away from orchestral or cinematic contexts often associated with Komeda’s work, bringing the music closer to its lyrical core; where text, melody and atmosphere become central.
